Gynaecological Procedures

Dr Nair is highly experienced in all aspects of general gynaecology and has excellent surgical skills in performing abdominal as well as Laparoscopic procedures.

 

Gynaecology Check-ups

We conduct standard examinations (pap smears, STD tests, etc.) to ensure you stay healthy. These will help identify issues early so they can be treated in a timely manner.

Addressing Heavy or Irregular Periods

Painful periods, irregular periods or heavy bleeding are common problems. They require timely attention and the expertise of a gynaecologist. Dr Nair carefully assesses every patient who experiences heavy periods, irregular periods and other related issues.

Endometriosis 

Endometriosis is a condition that affects a woman's reproductive organs. The condition occurs when cells similar to those that line the uterus are found in other parts of the body.

 

Fibroids

Fibroids is a common cause of heavy periods, are muscular tumours that grow in the wall of the uterus.

Uterus Removal

Fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease are just some of the conditions that can warrant a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus). Dr Nair is highly experienced in procedures of this nature. 

Ovarian Cyst Removal

Large or persistent ovarian cysts, or cysts that are causing symptoms, usually need to be surgically removed. Dr Nair has had decades of experience with these types of procedures.
